既に認可を受けている上記クラスと同じ内容で、英語での提供になります。

The difference is that this class offers the content in English while the other class does so
in Japanese.
＜Contents＞
This class aims to give tips to those who hope to study in
the USA or Canada for a college - or a graduate degree (M. A. or Ph. D,), prefereably in
Social Scieneces.

I anticipate to have students who can communicate with
me in English because I use English to teach the class. In addition, the slides of this class are in English.

＜You will learn the followings from this class:＞
1. How to locate a school that fits you: There are two types of schools in North America. You need to know the
difference.

2. How to type without having to look at your fingers as a
survival skill/Tips: You have to keep practicing typing afterwards.

3. How to finish reading all the necessary textbooks on time: Anotehr survival skill

4. How to participate in class discussions: You are expected to be functional there for better grades.

＜Class Format＞
It is a one on one class, 60 minutes, and highly
interactive.
The instructor gives you enough information and helpful
tips that she accumulated from her 18 years of stay in the US as a college visiting professor.

You are encouraged to ask questions and participate fully
in class.

*A 60 minute class
1.Today's goals and contents: 2 minutes
2. Self-Introduction（the Instructor): 2 minutes
3. How to choose a school that fits you: 1 minute
4. How to type: 15 minutes
5. How to finish reading your textbooks: 15 minutes
6. How to participate in class discussions: 1 5 minutes
7. Wrap-up and Q&A: 10 minutes

Class contents may vary based on the students' needs.
Students are asked to turn in their answers to my questions before the class time
so that I could gain knowledge about your goals and issues.

１．hope to study for degrees (college, university, and graduate schools) in the US or
Canada (B.A., M.A., and Ph.D.)
2. can communicate with me in English
3. hope to study in Social Sciences, such as Communications, Sociology, Geography, Anthropology, and Women's Studies
４．hope to learn how to choose fitting schools and study tips of typing, reading, and
participating in class discussions
5. understand study skills won't improve just by taking this class. You would need more
practice on your own. I will teach you how to improve such skills.

🌎This class is NOT for those people who...
1. expect to finish all the preparations by only taking this class
2. expect to get their applications done for their schools
3. can barely communicate with me in English: I am sorry that I can only understand
English and Japanese.

For those who take the class in person, please make sure you will be on time. If you are
concerned, please make sure you are protected by wearing a mask, etc.
