Input is important, but output is extremely vital in any language such as English.
Without output practice, it is almost impossible to express yourself in order to communicate.
When I ask people about their English education history, many people respond that they have been studying English since they were in junior high school until the present time. While most are confident with their reading and writing skills, the common complaint would be that they just can't seem to express themselves very well despite studying English for more than 10 years as this is still quite a problem in Japanese education, where input is the only focus when learning English.
Through my own experience learning a second language (Japanese), it may be strenuous to go a level higher when you have reached the intermediate or even advanced levels. It takes a lot of practice, effort, and patience. Together with input, continuous and regular output is definitely key.
This course is a safe space for you to just voice out your thoughts in English without any hesitation. Through conversation topics (e.g. Communication, Choices, Customs, Habits, etc.), your fluency as well as your ability to debate about certain issues will be greatly improved.
Example Topic:
[Communication]
Questions for Discussion:
1. What does communication mean to you?
2. How is communication changing between people?
3. How often do you start up a conversation with people you don't know?
4. Use your imagination. How do you think will people communicate in the future?
5. Which is more important: Communication skill or Language skill?
