Hinnie Banno joined the Tutorial English program at Waseda University as a full-time tutor in 2006.
She became one of the supervisors of the program in 2012 and her current duties include program administration, curriculum development and teacher training.
She completed her undergraduate studies in business at the University of Toronto and her M.A. Tesol (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) at University College London.
