＜ワークショップの概要＞
「グローバルを意識して英語でウェブ・モバイルのサービスをデザインしたいけど、言葉の適切な選択や表現の仕方が分からない・・・」
「欧米テックシーンのブログやニュースを最新でチェックする為に英語がもっと出来たら・・・」
こんな想いのある方に、テクノロジー分野にフォーカスした英語のブラッシュアップ講座を開催します。

在日アメリカ人で起業家・技術者である私が、同じ技術系の日本人に、テックにフォーカスした英語を伝授したいと思います。９０分で、技術系、ウェブ・モバイルサービス系に良く使われる言い回し、スラングなどを学び、実習として簡単なワークショップも盛り込んでいますので奮って参加下さい。

＜当日の流れ＞
Section ① ディスカッション：Techies' Slang
- Techies love slang. In this section we will cover all the slang words you need to know so that you too can "grok" any tech content. ["grok" is slang meaning to understand or grasp a concept]

Section ② ディスカッション: Popular Abbreviations on Tech Forums
- These days, especially on the Internet, techies love to use abbreviations. IMHO ["In my high opinion"] it is necessary to know the latest abbreviations if you want to stay up-to-date on the latest tech trends.

Section ③ ディスカッション: Common User Interface Terminology for your Website
- Are you creating a website in English? Even something as simple as one button can have so many options: login vs. logon vs. log on vs. log in vs. sign in vs. signin. What do they mean? Which are correct? Which one is the best? I'll cover it all in this section.

Section ④ ワークショップ: creating a Launch Page
- You will design a complete launch page in English for the product of your choosing. You bring your own idea in Japanese and I'll help you with word choice and web design and at the end of the class you will walk out the door with a professional and catchy English launch page to show your business to the world!
